How We Began (Our Story)

Friends of Flagstaff's Future was founded in 1995 out of a deep and abiding love for Flagstaff and surrounding areas. The citizens who formed this organization believed that Flagstaff would only retain its unique character, clean air and water, and extremely high quality of life through the collective action of engaged and informed citizens.

We have grown from that circle of concerned citizens into an organization with hundreds of members and an active presence in Flagstaff decision-making.
