Help us welcome spring at the Children's Garden of Flagstaff! Join us as we prepare the ground, clean up, plant flowers, and give our beloved garden some TLC after the long dry winter. This event is open to all, bring your families and children to join in the fun of giving back. We will have some gardening tools, soil, and plants. Join us for a hands-on fruit tree demonstration project at the Bonito Street Community Garden. Learn about Flagstaff fruit trees with Hattie Braun of the Coconino County Cooperative Extension and Bob Chambers with Terra BIRDS. This workshop will cover a general overview of high altitude orchards and basic principles of fruit tree care including site selection, soil health, pruning, and watering. McMillan Mesa Community Celebration

Join us to celebrate the preservation of McMillan Mesa and the Greater Buffalo Park area! The celebration will take place on the McMillan Mesa property just north of the San Francisco de Asis church. It's an election year, which means that Friends of Flagstaff's Future is excited to provide a Flagstaff City Council Candidate Forum.  We will be holding the Forum from 5:30 to 8:00 pm on August 30th at the Coconino Community College Lone Tree Campus (2800 S. Lone Tree Rd.). We will be utilizing the same format for the Forum that has become a tradition for F3. Council meeting 02/12/19

City Council has placed an agenda item concerning City Staff’s agreement with a mining company to allow use of Red Gap Ranch for access to state land where they will be testing for mining feasibility. Those tests may occur on Red Gap Ranch Land as well. Please come to this meeting so staff and council know that we are concerned about future fracking or mining near or on Red Gap Ranch, our potential future water source.
